Wes Hoolahan to have medical on Monday

Recommended Posts

Ok, must learn to read my calendar properly - but I guess you could say that Monday might be the first proper business day of the month, ie for things like medicals/transfers and so on.

We can hope.
you heard it here first...
We are actually waiting for one of your "predictions" to come true. There seem to have been an awful lot of such and such is signing that have been started by you and none seem to have actually occurred. Are you just starting a thread for each player we have been linked with in the hope that one will actually come true?

Ive never said anyone is signing before.

I have heard he is having a medical on Monday and this is from someone who I am pretty sure isnt making it up.

Did you get this from the Vital Norwich site ? because a binner on there has posted exactly the same .

I did not get it from there, but very interesting, makes me feel more confident that my source is correct.

But knowing Norwich someone else will probably come in and offer him more money, so lets not build our hopes up until its confirmed.

I thought you started the "Rasiak on his way" and "Taylor in talks with City" threads?

Apologies if I have got that wrong.

That is correct I did post them, but I was refering to other rumours or newspapers.

Rasiak with a link to the polish articles I found and Taylor with a link to carrowroad.net.
has noone realised still that the window doesnt open until July the 1st? Sorry to disappoint people! We can still announce deals though..
The window opens on the 1st of June, training starts at the end of June and Roeder has recently stated that he''d like to have all new players signed by the 1st of July but that will be very difficult because of the sheer number of players that will be coming in.

Just do like I do and wait for the official announcement.  IF it is true then I would think there will be some form of announcement by the club before his medical date.

I do hope its true. Does this mean, if true, that we have had the bid accepted and that we have agreed personal terms? Or is this done the other way round?

Rumour is that he has a £250K clause in his contract so no need to get a bid accepted as happened to us with Earnie & Etuhu.

So far as I know you put the bid in and then have to agree personal terms with the player.  The bid gives you the right to do that (in a release situation) but then the personal terms are negotiated with the Agent/Player and it is for those two to sort out which to accept.  It gives you the right to talk but it doesn''t mean the player is yours (unless said terms are acceptable to Agent/Player).

PS:

"He''d love to play for you.  He respects you as a Manager and if it was down to me it would be a done deal cos I respect you as well.  But you have to understand our situation: yes, it''s a good deal but I''ve got XXXXX (club) on my back saying okay we''ll top that by Â£2k.  Honest, I''m being straight with you Glenn (insert name of any other current Club Manager):  I want the lad to do well but, hand on heart, I can''t tell him to do your deal unless you are going to get closer to theirs can I? Can''t you shift a bit?.  It''s sad to me because I think he would be great for you............."

These, or similar conversations, are going on all over the country................

Most footballer''s contracts run until the 30th June, I know ours certainly do, and that''s why a lot of Clubs are doing deals now that will run from the 1st July cos you can''t have more than one contract at a time.
