canaryjock 0 Posted May 31, 2008 I also read this in today''s Daily Record here in Scotland.http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football-news/football-updates/2008/05/31/soccer-shorts-get-away-86908-20589938/The only reason it''s made the papers up here is because he used to play for Livingston. They seem quite certain that the transfer is going to happen though.
bassisbest 0 Posted May 31, 2008 does this mean we will be signing gorkss on monday aswell?i hope so!!
ncfclad 0 Posted May 31, 2008 I dont know about Gorrks, but what is interesting is that the medical was suppose to be on Monday, perhaps they changed it to yesterday as said by tangerine planet. Maybe they put the medical forward because they have other medicals to carry out on other player/s on Monday.Maybe there is more to be announced on Monday?Does anyone know if the same staff carry out the medical or is it at certain hospitals etc...
colneycanary 0 Posted May 31, 2008 Who would of carried out this medical yesterday. We don''t have any physio''s?
Crafty Canary 495 Posted May 31, 2008 I think the medicals are done at the N&N hospital as they have the scan facilities etc. When you are paying for it i would imagine they are done when you want them done.
WeAreYellows49 0 Posted May 31, 2008 We shall see in the coming week if the rumours, which is all they are, are true or not.Would be nice for the fans to have at least 1 confirmed signing for the start of the transfer window, gives us all a little hope then. On the way back to wherever they were going they trashed a caravan in someone''s front driveway and someone peed over it. They were all fined by the club who had to shell out £5k in compensation to the caravan owner.

He was the only "name" in this - two were reserve players we''d never heard of.And that''s only a "name" in the Northern Edition of Her Majesty''s Daily Star. You were spared it in your delightful city I think. His agent was really funny though. When my daughter phoned him he said: "I can''t be saying anything about this."Daughter: "Was it Wes who peed on the caravan."Agent: "No it wasn''t him." No wonder there don''t seem to be many clubs coming in for him (if any). He is v. good player and at £250,000 you would think there would be more interest.
