Worf 0 Posted May 5, 2008 When, before the start of last season, Peter Grunt announced the relatively impressive signings of Cureton (23 goal forward) Brellier (midfield powerhouse) Russel (progical son returns) Strihavka (Czech top scorer) and Marshall (saved a Ronaldinho penalty), we were all fairly optimistic for the campaign and believed that the team was capable of a play off push. Maybe if it wasn''t for the sale of marksman Robert Earnshaw - which many, including myself were furious at.I''m glad Earnshaw left. Think, if we had a few more goals in us we might not have had such a disasterous start to the season and Grunt may not have been sacked. In the end, it was the greater good because I believe Roeder is far better for the long term future of this club.Give Roeder sufficient money to build a team and next season, we can aim for the play-offs and see where we end up but i am sure it will be in a much healthier position than if we still had the muppet Grunt in charge (league one).Who do we need? Who will we get? How will we do next year?Only time will tell. It will be a battle, for our enemies are strong but we shall unite and crush them into a Coca-Cola oblivion.
