Stevie Wonder 0 Posted May 2, 2008 For me I don''t give a monkeys about being fair to the team fighting relegation. We should be looking at what is best for NCFC. I would go for; GilksCave-Brown Spillane Shackell EagleChadwick Russell Fotheringham Pattison Martin CuretonSubs - Dublin, Hucks, Lathrope, Daley, DocNo point in playing the loanees and it is chance to have a look at a couple of the fringe players. Ending this season how we intend to start next.If we sent out that defensive lineup at Hillsborough with Wednesday fighting for their lives we''d get stuffed. Salopian 1 Posted May 3, 2008 I am not sure that a single game, with Seffield throwing everything at us, is a good opportunity to assess younger players. Spillane may be one to try, as he has played in the first team before, although not recently.Do we still receive money fropm the league according to where we finish in the table? In which case, put out our strongest team, if Ched and Berty are still around. Perhaps Curo''s self-worth may not be damaged if he is on the bench just for one game. Roeder has clearly shown that he likes playing young players but on quality not on sympathy, i''d play the same team as qpr other then russell in for gibbs and dublin for cureton
Captain Holt 580 Posted May 3, 2008 Marshall, Bertrand, Doherty, Shackell, Camara, Huckerby, Russell, Fotheringham, Pattison, Evans, DublinThis would be my eleven, but Roeder will play Cureton ahead of Dion.
Hoolahans Ped 0 Posted May 3, 2008 GilksOtsemoboor, Shackell, Spillane, BertrandChadwick, Fotheringham, Lathrope, HucksDion, EvansSubs- Marshall, Pattison, Croft, Russel, Cureton I honestly think this team can get the job done and still try out fringe players. I''m going tomorrow and want a good performance. This team should be able to perform. This could also congratulate Damon Lathrope for his consistant hard work and good performances in the reserves. Paul Spector 0 Posted May 4, 2008 GilksJuan Shack Doc BertyCroft Fozzy Lathrope Hucks Dion CuretonAgreed. Think Curo should play to try and give him a lifeline of confidence - if its another bad day for him though his confidence could be shattered longterm. Risk. jetstream 0 Posted May 4, 2008 Sam, interesting that your ''footer'' reads "Mark Fotheringham is Crap" (a view I tend to agree with)...and yet you pick him in your team! What does Captain Invisible have to offer today? I''d rather play Russell / Spillane in the middle and see if Spillachio is up to the job for next season.
Nishclishbang 0 Posted May 4, 2008 We won 3-0 last week, in what was one of our best performances of the season - it could have been many more, so I''d imagine we will be unchanged. We should be - what sort of message does it send otherwise? Maybe mix things up a bit from the bench.
