YankeeCanary 0 Posted May 17, 2004 I may be wrong but it appears that the "Awards" idea never got off the ground. I must say that this does not disappoint me too much. However, if that is the case, I would like just to use the thread to acknowledge the most generous poster, that being SI. He was kind enough to send me ( at his cost ) a video of the Norwich-Ipswich game in March. He followed that up with the bouquet of flowers for cityangel''s "Prediction League" success. Thanks SI. Being Jan Kristiansen... 0 Posted May 17, 2004 For those who do not like sickly, congratulatly, pat on the back kind of messages look away now...I would just like to say that the Awards idea did not take off because what makes this board the best place to post is the fact that everyone is a star and all contributions (I include the sensible way the Mods look after the board) are equally interesting.I am only an occasional poster but I have been reading the views on here for sometime and I would like to congratulate everyone for creating a place where I always find interesting, provocative and funny posts on a regular basis.Thanks.
