Six City fans charged over violence

Recommended Posts

A Leicestershire police spokeswoman said more fans were expected to be charged before the six, aged between 18 and 43, appear at Leicester Magistrates'' Court on May 15.  Nineteen Norwich City fans were arrested following the match on February 16, which ended in a 4-0 defeat for Norwich.  Police were called to reports of fighting between rival groups of up to 30 supporters at Loseby Lane, a short distance from the Walkers Stadium.  Buildings were vandalised and some people suffered minor injuries following the trouble which was described by eye witnesses as “scary” and “like something from a film”.

Bang these idiots up if found guilty.

And Archant....

About 3,000 Canaries'' followers travelled to Leicester to see the match, which was the Canaries'' biggest away turnout since the team lost 6-0 at Fulham in May 2005 to seal relegation from the Premiership.

Really, How many fans went to Chelsea away?

We generally take a lot away fpr the size of our fanbase. Got over 5,000 going to Hillsborough on sunday for what is a meaningless game.

This season have been some lower turnouts because of the Grant factor and the fact that some our our more attractive away games have been evening games but we will generally not have less than 1,000 for any saturday afternoon away game and normally would take plenty more than that.

5000k that distance is quite a feat and well done! many would thought it could be relegation decider before purchasing tickets and going for dublin & hucks i should think! but still not many clubs be able to get that no matter what circumstances
