FatMan Fat 0 Posted May 16, 2004 When you look at the average crowds in the Premiership it is essential that we build the infill immediately! Our current capacity is what, 24,000? Fulham''s average gate was 16,342 but they have a multi, multi millionnaire bankrolling them and they are moving to a new ground. Pompey only avaraged 20,108 but again are supposedly revamping their ground. Then its Blackburn with 24,376 (multi, mutli millionnaire syndrome); Charlton 26,293; Bolton26,794 and Wolves 28,874.If we are going to be able to compete financially then we have to increase our capacity!! DumbleDelia is Magic 0 Posted May 16, 2004 I agree FatMan, but I didn''t think there was any doubt we were going ahead with the infill?
Pape Diop 0 Posted May 16, 2004 I hope there is no doubt about going ahead with it. Does anyone know will most of the seats in the new corner be given to people on the season ticket waiting list?
At last? 0 Posted May 17, 2004 drove past this morning and construction has started. i suspect most will go to season ticket waiting list people (if they want them) with the usual proportion reserved for members
