Sheffield Wednesday's £2k fine

Apologies if it has been but not seen this discussed much on here. Personally I think this is an absolute joke. Am also disgusted at the way the Football League quietly announced this on a saturday morning no doubt hoping it would sneak under the radar of most fans as they are at a game and the sunday/monday papers would be filled with match reports.

In essence it therefore appears that the fee for naming additional loan players in your squad is £2,000 per player.

I say sod it lets play all ours next game in fact lets only have loan players therefore if we get in any financial trouble we can cut back straight away!  I bet there isnt a Wednesday player on less than 2k a week.

Its not sour grapes as i dont beleive it makes a bit of difference if we stay up of not as i dont think we are going down even if they lost points but surely this is a joke jesture from the FA.  Players get fined more for turning up late to training!!!

PS  - On a slightly diffrent note since when did all this loan transfer fees nonsense appear?  Its giving clubs a chance to "buy" players out of the transfer window is it not? 

PPS - Cheats do prosper it appears!

Absolute joke, isn''t it?Mind you, we wouldn''t have wanted to have played Henry or Gibbs more than we already have, so we couldn''t have fielded more than five and made our "best" team anyway.

Joke isn''t it, i''m sure it would have been a different outcome had it of happend to a Premier League team, where their is far more attention, and any mistake th FA do make will come back to bite them in the arse in the following day''s newspaper''s. But as it''s only the Championship, a group of about 3 football league member''s probably discussed what would be a good punishment for all of 30 seconds before tucking into their freshly made prawn sandwiches.
