I always do the same at the start of the season ..

this was mine:

1. Sheffield United
2. Charlton
----------------------
3. Wolves
4. Watford
5. Norwich
6. West Brom
-----------------------
7. Southampton
8. Sheffield Wednesday
9. Preston
10. Cardiff
11. Crystal Palace
12. Leicester
13. Coventry
14. Stoke
15. Burnley
16. Ipswich
17. Plymouth
18. Barnsley
19. Blackpool
20. Colchester
21. Bristol City
-----------------------
22. QPR
23. Scunthorpe
24. Hull City

oh dear.. how wrong i was!

i dont have a clue what I was thinking with some of those looking back at it now. Southampton 7th? Shefiield Wednesday 8th? Hull City Bottom! (even norwich 5th..)

That is extremely poor ..

Most people felt the three relegated clubs would lead the way this season because of the bigger parachute payments. As usual it didn''t work out that way. So it looks like Sheffield United, Charlton and Watford could all still be here next season to compete with three more clubs with huge parachute payments.

I didn''t predict the whole table but just promotion and relegation:

Charlton (1st), West Brom (2nd), Southampton (play-offs)

Relegated: QPR Scunthorpe and Blackpool

My mate bet us that Sheffield Wednesday would finish bottom 6 and we scoffed at the suggestion, looks like he''s going to win that one!

yes delia my mate spotted that to

but i tipped spurs to either sack him early or him do top job i.e i stuck spurs 4th for prem, but i also thought he may be chucked out the club for couple near misses in trophy department and league positions

i got half it almost correct, although i did expect the 4th over him being sacked

- i also thought if he came 4th and they played nice football he would get the award, my other options was going to be roy keane or mark hughes

i would give it to redknapp or o''neill at the moment how bout you?

sir Alex after they win the champions league, expect some goal tonight 2-2 or 3-3

good pundit,

was there 3 shots each in the match? let alone goals?

barca now favs, only need a draw or win to qualify and if was comes out those 0-0 they got extra time to nail an away goal

Had Ronaldo scored that pen it would have been a different game, As for Barca being favorites now it just shows how much you know. unless you know better than the bookies?

very true dirt, if ronaldo scored 1st it could of ended up goal fest

but its all ifs and buts

i could say arsenal favs for the champs league if it wasnt for ifs and buts!

as to the odds id put it 50/50

manutd strong favourites at bookies down to patriotism being shown

realistically you getting barca 6/4 to win or get score draw - and extra time if 0-0

when manutd 4/7 in a game they really have to win

you have to admit those poor odds and the values with barca

Its a Old Trafford which gives Man Utd a huge advantage, Barca didn''t score at home what makes you think they can do it here

Arsenal would never have been favorites for it, even if they made it to the final.

The game will be a lot more open at Old Trafford as United won''t sit back in front of their own fans like they did last night. Barca were very close to getting through United''s defence on more than one occasion last night and if United play a more attacking game I can see Barca getting at least one. If United could get an early goal I think they''ll go on and win it but the longer the game goes on without them scoring the more risks they''ll take and the more gaps they could leave for Barca to exploit.Uniteds biggest problem is their best player. Ronaldo may be the best player in The Premiership but he consistently goes missing in the really big games. World Cup SF v France in 2006, Champions League SF v Milan 2007, FA Cup final v Chelsea 2007, pretty much every time they play Chelsea or Arsenal and again last night. They need a big, big performance from him next Tuesday or they may well get knocked out.DDD is right of course, United are favourites by virtue of the fact that they are on level terms after the away leg. Nothing to do with patriotism we8wba, although that does tend to affect the odds offered on any England match.I fancy a 1-1 draw with Barca losing to Chelsea in the final. Which leads me neatly on to my next point, we8wba asked who should be manager of the year. If Chelsea win The Champions League then surely Avram Grant is in with a shout, purely for achieving that whilst constantly being undermined by the press, his own supporters and at times his own players.

going bit of topic here lol

but isnt manager year based on domestic league not european trophies? i know obviously this has some baring if its not including europe! also isnt the award choosen by may 20 what ever for manager of year?

i said all along barca will go through on away goal

ddd, you said barca created nothing at home, i dont expect 2nd leg to go like the 1st but you could say how utd going to score with 32% possesion

lets hope for a great game, lets face it the tie is nicely poised and could go either way

i just personally feel more of coin flip with utd needing a win realistically

bet 365 chalk up

manutd 1/1 draw 11/5 barca 11/4

double chance on barca win or draw 8/11 (puts them through bar 0-0)

odds qualify manutd 4/6 barca 6/5

intresting, but as i said we could argue this all night, its like me arguing heads and you arguing tails - i personally think the 0-0 suits barca more
