If you really think Shackell is a better centre back than the Doc, you shouldn''t be writing a football blog.  It''s really that simple.

What an interesting piece of debate, thank you for taking the time to share that.

It''s called an opinion and besides what I said was "Now, don’t get me wrong, I like Doherty and think he has had a pretty decent season but I think if Roeder can bring in a couple of new centre-back’s then he will do and one of Doherty or Shackell will fall under Glenn’s axe. As Doherty is older, still prone to the odd calamity, generally has less natural ability than Shackell and is out of contract this summer I think he may well be the candidate."

Hardly slating Doherty is it Mister Chops?!

Depends on how you interpret your comments, doesn''t it?

What do you think of Shackell''s distribution?  I see you selectively quoted from your article, leaving out the

"Both Taylor and Pearce have been popular at Carrow Road for their cool, calm defending and simple passing to the midfield, unlike the Gary Doherty angled long-ball style that has plagued us for the past few seasons."

Plagued us?  Have you seen Shackell pass the ball?  He has a 50p foot to go with his 50p head.  Just as guilty of the angled long ball as Doc, but it suits you not to say so.  I see the art of twisting the facts to suit a case is alive and well in Sports Journalism school.

And for my money, saying someone has less natural ability than Shackell is very much slating them: it''s up there with saying someone has less natural charisma than the Elephant Man, or someone has less inclination towards democracy than Robert Mugabe.

Lol, I do fear you''re taking this a tad too seriously old boy!

If you would like me to put it in black and white for you: I don''t think either are good enough if we are to become a more succesful side as I think Pearce and Taylor have demonstrated to us this season.

I think one needs to go and the other needs to be our third choice centre-back.

This is my OPINION and what makes you think you are qualified to say I''m wrong?!

Lighten up man, it doesn''t matter if someone makes a slight spelling mistake or says something you don''t agree with. We''re supposed to be Norwich City fans enjoying talking about our favourite club so stop trying to put people down all the time or go away.

Journalist in "no free speech" shocker...

I think it''s called debate.  Now if we all agreed with each other, what a boring world it would be.  No need for messageboards... sigh... imagine there''s no heaven...

I don''t agree with you, and you don''t agree with me.  Big deal.  World still turning.  What''s all this "stop trying to put people down all the time" business?  It''s only you and 1st Wiz.  Here, have a banana.
