arrdee 2 Posted April 2, 2008 Yes its Free Bet time again fans and its Norfolkchance1 in charge ,now don''t think for one minute that Norfolk is a new Broome to sweep clean , he has done the picks now on three occasions and who can forget the last time ? with just the one wrong .Now I know Norfolk is going to Holt this losing streak we are on at the present because we all have St Faiths in him and if we Stody hard we wont need anyone to Bale us out . We just want your best selection your "nap" it dosent matter if its been picked before It will help Norfolk no end , he will never Diss miss or Binham he will consider each and every selection on its merit .I know we wont get all those big posters on the Free Bet thread , If they don''t want to help our Academy their hearts must be made of ice and I cant Melton , who Needham anyway ? Their Sat afternoons must be spent Snoring their heads off and I wouldn''t mind betting its not Little Snoring but Great Snoring . Remember we are not Fritton money away because It costs us nothing thanks to Dixmar Racing .Now think If all our selections are Upwell at half time just think how those posters that wont help us feel , they will be Eaton their hearts out.Wells I don''t care If they are up a Creake without a paddle .[:D] arrdee.Yankee,2,Fellas,P''boro, £212-56p
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted April 2, 2008 I''m on a roll of one correct pick in a row, so to continue my fine form, I''ll go for Carlisle to beat Yeovil.
DDD In The Fine City 1 Posted April 2, 2008 gonna get mine in nice and quick this weekSwansea v Bournmouth - Home win
lucky green trainers 0 Posted April 2, 2008 watford to beat coventry looks tempting - but i think our own NCFC are the ones to deliver the goods this weekend. with the spotlight on andy coles personal life, will the burnley team rally around like the city boys did for matty patty??? and as for our own performance - make no mistake, roedy will have drilled our defence to within an inch of their lives!!! no cock-ups on sat then......CITY to beat burnley. easy peasey lemon squeezy!!! Trent Canary 0 Posted April 2, 2008 Agree with an earlier one. Swansea to beat Bournemouth. Swansea - At home - 12/5/3. Bournemouth - away - 5/2/
nutty nigel 7,899 Posted April 3, 2008 Greetings Pink Un Pickers..... alright[Y]There''s a few I like this week so Trimingham down to just one was difficult. But with no midweek European matches Hindringham I fully expect Everton to beat Derby.Everton V Derby Home winGood luck Norfolkchance1[Y] with your Thurne this week. That''s right.... hold tight... stay bright [H]
Hissing Sid 160 Posted April 3, 2008 Much as I would love it, I just can''t see Sheringham scoring a winner against Ip***ch this weekend so for me Diss week it has to be Carlisle v Yeovil - Home win.Carlisle did lose at home to Forest the other night, but that was their first defeat in 13, and they are still looking at automatic promotion.Yeovil are mid table and safe with only 2 wins in 9.A couple of Buxton this should see us home. we8wba 0 Posted April 3, 2008 selectionarsenal to beat liverpool 1/1 reasons behind selectionscoreline last night in the champions league was 1-1, many times when their run of games like this there isnt usually the same outcome in the next matchboth teams will have an eye on next weeks encounter for sure, i am giving this game to arsenal as they need the result morearsenal need to win to stay in the title race whilst liverpool can afford a slip up here and probably rest the big stars for this encounterarsenal i believe still undeafted at emirates in 20months there
Buncey 1 Posted April 3, 2008 No more stalham, my nap diss week is for Ross County to beat Berwick Rangers. They both haven''t got anything to play for but one team is bottom and have done badly all season and are finishing the season on a low, Ross county have stormed the league and have been promoted in still. I think ross county are on too good of a runton lose on saturday. Lets make ol'' ardee sing lound and clear on sunday night with another win for the academy. Gentleman Jim 0 Posted April 3, 2008 Oh dere''am stuck for choice this week , several good things and I don''t nor''wich way to turn. However, Aldershot have done me well''so far for two successive weeks but by narrow margins so maybe Salisbury may holt their little run.Watford v Coventry , two draw specialists here and I fancy both given their individual placings would be grateful not to lose, but draws are chancy things so I give them a miss.Leeds away to Orient look good don''t they, but they have let us downham before. So finally just when I was wondering watt''on earth to chose I see strong home team Chesterfield v a stuttering Shrewsbury, looks a home banker to me.So good luck Norfolk, my nap is Chesterfield home win.p.s. my horse''ford the Grand National is King John''s Castle, should just blo''field away cossey lost his jewels in the Wash didn''t he ?(boom boom !). lappinitup 629 Posted April 3, 2008 Got me Reepham about this week arrdee to bring home the Baconsthorpe so I do hope we''ll soon be Bacton ormall. By the way, Cathy''s grandmother Paston last week and left Cathy a Leather ring set in her will but she only wore it for ten minutes and it Brooke so she was hopping about like a Catton a hot tin roof !As you know, I normally go for Peterborough but I''m Ditchingham this week after Scarning the fixture list. Chesterfield who still have a good chance of the play-offs entertain Shrewsbury with a terrible away record. This one looks nailed on so for me this week so......Chesterfield v Shrewsbury.....Home win !Good luck norfolkchance1. Let''s get Booton that bookie ! norfolkchance1 0 Posted April 3, 2008 Keep them coming everyone. I always find that this time of the year usually leads to some shock results for teams that are all-but-sure of promotion. On the other hand there are some teams like Man Utd etc who over the years have managed to win vital away games by the odd goal when they''ve needed to so there might be some teams like Derby and Port Vale etc who may beat a team in the mode of East Fife (already promoted) When do you need them by Ray? arrdee 2 Posted April 3, 2008 Now have you lovely old Pickers seen the poor plight that Gretna are in ? The Administrators have made 22 players redundant , what ever sort of a team are they going to put out at the weekend ? I suppose anyone that turns up with a pair of boots is in the frame. I don''t suppose It will be long before they are Booton Gretna out of the league.I think that the two teams at the bottom of the Scottish Div 3 fixtures Montrose v Forfor and Stanraer v Stenhousemuir are both home wins but still not my "nap" I ask myself Wood Dalling over my "nap" make any difference ? well in keeping with the wonderful Norfolkchance and this theme It has to be Norwich City home win.[Y] arrdee.Yankee,2,Fellas,P''boro, £212-56p

Canarygeorge 0 Posted April 4, 2008 Now, Watton earth have you started here Ray. Carlisle to beat Yeovil Nap. Carlisle are the stand out team when they are odds on at home, according to that Footballl Anorak site. And at 8/15 not bad value.Grand National selection to follow on Friday night. Good luck, gang. blahblahblah 2 Posted April 4, 2008 Hereford to beat Chester - Football AnorakHereford 6-1-3 in the last 10 matches - they''ve had a couple of wobbles against mid-table sides Lincoln and Bury - maybe this could be promotion race jitters ?Chester 2-0-8 in the last 10 matchesHereford need the win to push for promotion, Chester are 9 points clear of relegation.Chester have lost their last 4 away games, 3 of them were 1-0. This has a 1-0 win to Hereford written all over it.Once these games have been picked, and we Wymondham selections, I reckon they''ll get the notes down at the academy, and they''ll be Sheringham all out. Hmm - dropping norfolk town names is more difficult than it looks.

Ivana_rubyatitz 6 Posted April 4, 2008 I would add another vote for Carlisle, always a good banker at home and Yoevil will have a hell of a trip up there.
Leedscanary 389 Posted April 4, 2008 Its gotta be INVERNESS to beat Gretna for me this week. Gretna have been forced to play the game, even though being in administration and making 22 players redundant last week so gawd only knows who''ll be in their team.Must be a banker that this week, although the odds will be terrible - its a dead cert in my eyes.Leeds Canary (Young Gun)
7rew 0 Posted April 4, 2008
I''ll jump back in to the fray with Ross County to beat Berwick at 1/4.Top v Bottom... nuff said
As thats already picked, I''ll go with Hamilton Accies, who still need point for promotion
Canarygeorge 0 Posted April 4, 2008 Dont be afraid to give a selection thats already been picked. It''s much better than having 25 people giving a different game, just to be different. If 3 or 4 people or more give the same selection, it is much better than giving a 2nd best choice.Good luck to the bet. As for the Grand National, if i was having a bet in it, i''d be on Comply or die @ 10/1. But the National is such a lottery and it''s more luck than anything if you get the winner. Be lucky !
