KCASN 0 Posted March 19, 2008 I''ve just heard that there is meant to be lots of snow on Saturday. I rarely go to see Norwich play but I''ve been able to make this match. So will it be called off. When was the last game called off at Carrow Road and what do you do when its called off? Help will be appreciated. I really want to see Norwich v Colchester. My first derby game. OTBC! I was due to be mascot for the FA Cup 3rd round match against Coventry in January 1993, but that was snowed off and nobody told me, so I ended up being very upset when I got to the ground...! I got to do the honours for the rearranged match, though - under floodlights in midweek. We won 1-0 and Darren Beckford got the winner!
National express super guard 0 Posted March 19, 2008 sunderland away was postponed for safety reasons, for fans getting 2 game, thats only reason a game would be called off here, snow wouldnt affect the game as such coz we have undersoil heating, and gary has a big shovel 2 clear any rogue snow :)
Tumbleweed 106 Posted March 19, 2008 Can''t see it being called off as mattscousin says there is undersoil heating, so unless somebody forgets to turn it on (!!) you should be fine.

Gets turned on in the summer when it is required less.

And that was due to the lights or something (I don''t think it was the flood lights though, I think it was like the lights in the stand but it broke health and safety or something)3. Norwich v the uwes isn''t a derby game...
Boyo 0 Posted March 19, 2008 Is there ment to be snow?? first I''ve heard of this! However if there is snow the only reason the game will be called of is because of the safety for fans outside the ground, the game wont be called of because of snow on the pitch because we have under soil heating. Also like Fella''s said NCFC v ColU is not a derby game, but there will be a derby atmosphere. Pinks 0 Posted March 19, 2008 Perhaps a certain player could breathe alcohol fumes on any snow. That''s if someone could lend him some trousers( allegedly)!!!!
