Hannibal 0 Posted March 20, 2008 Regardless of if we stay up or go down i''ll still be there next season singing along getting behind the team as we all should do! on another note i am getting rather annoyed with the people who keep hurling abuse at Marshall in the Barcley. He has been our best player this season by a mile or four. If it bothers you that much do the talking with your feet by not coming. if your going to be ignorant and should abuse at the poor lad go watch another team as your not welcome. Syteanric 1 Posted March 20, 2008 I take it you shut your eyes when the opposition attack then? Marshall makes good saves but is hopeless in all other areas... watch his distribution on saturday and count how many balls go off the pitch or get punted to Jamie curetons head...also, watch how many times he hesistates when coming off his line...jas :)
Hannibal 0 Posted March 20, 2008 We both see the game in different lights Jas, for a keeper he is young, his shot stopping is brilliant as are his reflexes. he hesitates on his line because he does not have the confidence yet to come collect the ball, probably because he is worried people will shout a load of abuse if he leaves his line and makes a mistake. Get behind the lad FFS!

Nuff Said 5,960 Posted March 20, 2008 If you shout abuse at him will he gain confidence or lose it?

Trent Canary 0 Posted March 20, 2008 Bit off topic, but was reading the other day that we have a better goals condeded/game ratio than Stoke city and West Brom. If only we could score goals ay?!
O.T.B.C 1 Posted March 20, 2008 I''m not far behind the goal to one side, I have never heard any abuse to Marshall, maybe some quiet muttering but not abuse. I have always maintained that you should never single out players for abuse during the game (except opo fans) It never helps them and on thinking about it maybe this message board is good for the abuse. We can get it off our chest and not moan at football matches.
