Apt anagrams?

Recommended Posts

Titus Bramble - I START BUMBLE
Darren Huckerby - HURRY BACK [BARCLAY] ENDER (ok, so I added the ''Barclay'' bit!)
Iwan Roberts - RAREBITS NOW

And here''s a great site to help you out if you get stuck:

http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram/

In the ''advanced anagramming'' section at the top, you can narrow down the search in various ways. I can''t really explain it, but go there and you''ll see what I mean.

Try to find the most apt anagrams you can.

This thread could run and run!

David Ginola
Work it out for yourselves or put in in http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram/ if you don''t already know it

MPfN, can I presume that you mean a first word rhyming with ''one who shines badges'', & a second word being virtually the singer of White Flag?

Hi A47, I get your drift on the White Flag singer and you are correct. Not sure I understand the "other meaning" of your first word but there was recently a play (and maybe a book) called the V***** Monologues
Hopefully we''re on the same lines here

MPfN, I think you guys are on the same lines: if someone shines shoes, they are a ''shoe shiner''. Taking that logic, someone who shines badges, said quickly, is I think similar sounding to your word.

PS any more anagrams people?
