listen (formerly MG7) 0 Posted May 26, 2004 I''m sure you''ve all read the story about how he''s ''officially'' the best manager of the past three months (go Nigel!), but I have one question:On the official site, there''s a picture of him receiving the award, and in the text underneath it says ''...Nigel Worthington, pictured above with his former Northern Ireland International colleague Bryan Hamilton and John Duncan from the Football League Manager''s Association...''Now I hope that this isn''t the Hamilton who nearly ruined our club! Why would he be there at all? I don''t think it is him though, because it doesn''t LOOK like him (but then I haven''t seen him for a couple of years), and I thought his name was spelt Brian and not Bryan. Can anyone shed any light? Cheers.OTBCPS - Congratulations to Nigel, we always knew you were the best in the country, and now you''ve proved it!
Pete Raven 276 Posted May 26, 2004 It is indeed our ex "fantastic" manager, who was there to present the award to Worthy. Not sure why though...
listen (formerly MG7) 0 Posted May 26, 2004 Stranger and stranger....Now Worthy''s paying tribute to him! I guess Hamilton did do ONE good thing, bringing in Nigel as his assistant. Oh that and Raymond de Waard... :)OTBC
