Great talent, great potential but lazy and has an attitude problem (from Villa fans, not me). WBA have the option to buy him for £3-3.5M at the end of the season (what''s the betting that it is dependant on WBA getting promotion?). I presume that he also preferred staying local as well? It still amazes me that the masses continue to believe that we will splash the cash in the summer. I predict we will again be linked with some £million plus big fish but we won''t land any of them.

We have to realise that this regieme is quite happy to trundle along in a mid table comfort zone. Only relegation or a fans revolt is going to shake them out of this position and niether seem very likely in my opinion.

Moore is quality and should be playing in the premiership - West Brom can offer him that and we can''t - simple as. To be honest Moore wouldn''t have much ambition if he joined Norwich at the moment! If you are happy with the present situation then good for you. Personally I and a few others on here are not so happy. It is pointless to get into another circular argument about the transfer budget and money spent on off field activities. All that stuff has been aired too many times.

If you think the present owners policy will get us to the Premier league, then I say dream on. As another poster remarked on here recently, "the days of a nice family run club playing in the Prem are long over". It''s a big money league now and without it we will always be also rans.

Luke Moore is a class act and will score at least 20 goals per season in a championship side.  I''d rather have him than Ched Evans, and I rate Ched Evans quite highly, but Moore''s quicker and stronger.  One concern is he might have an attitude issue - i.e. he thinks he''s "all that".

My point is that Evans has been a proven success of a loan signing. 6 goals in 17 games and now proven at this level. Credit for his signing should go to all involved.

£3 million is a lot of money for a player as unproven as Luke Moore. He hasn''t exactly set the world alight with his performances and if Martin O''Neill reckons he isn''t worth keeping then i think that says it all.
