Block E Buh 0 Posted February 17, 2008 Fair enough if we get youngsters in from Chelsea, Arsenal etc.. But Reading? Are they now our feeder club?! Henry is not ready for Reading so we get him? Im not saying Huckerby is at his best and deserves a starting place but he has to be a better option than Henry?
scott 0 Posted February 17, 2008 Precisely! Henry isn''t good enough for Norwich if his totally inept, uncommited performance against Leicaster yesterday is anything to go by! Hucks or Pattison are far more capable than either Gibbs or Henry!

We would be the feeder club if this was the case, this is because we are in a lower division, it is not possible for a Premiership side to be the feeder club of a championship side irrespective of fan base or history.2) Just because we have signed two players loan from the same club does not make us a feeder club.3) Young players are likely to be more settled when relocating for the first time in their professional careers when they have somebody else to move with, especially when they are likely to be staying in the same temporary accomodation. This is why several Arsenal players went to Birmingham last year at the same time.4) I think you will find that Pearce is a) a good player b) only our third capable centre back at the club.5) We have sold two of the best players we have had this decade to West Ham, does this make us West Hams feeder club?6) WE DONT NEED ANOTHER HUCKERBY RELATED THREAD AND YOU CANT INFLUENCE ROEDERS DECISION BY VOICING YOUR OPINION ON AN INTERNET FORUM

Block E Buh 0 Posted February 18, 2008 I was being ironic but yes, our parent club. Instead of Huckerby how about Lappin then? He''s better than Henry in my opinion.
