Come on Hucks, Fight back and end with a flourish!

After all thats gone on with Darren Huckerby in the past four years, being mainly responsible for winning the championship, being one of our better performers in the top flight and certainly being our best players in the following two seasons, culminating by saving us from the drop under Grant last season. Huckerby''s finale must not end how it''s heading, the club and him have been through too much, far too much. He''s stuck with us, been our best player and showed commitment when the likes of Ashton and Etuhu didnt bother. He is a City legend.

If he ends this season frozen out, it will be a travesty. But, he has got too merit a place in the team, you cant put him in for the sake of it. By all accounts, when he came off the bench at Southampton he did well, a different player to the one that has struggled with a hip injury all season, but then he''s axed. Harsh. No, he doesnt deserve to start, but wouldnt you agree that the last 20 minutes on saturday was crying out for Hucks, as was the previous home game with Leicester. He isnt what he was, but if he''s over the hip problems, he is still someone who has plenty to contribute.

So come on Hucks and Glen, dont fall out, prove your critics wrong Mr H, and get back on that pitch and give us NCFC fans a few last glimpses before you disapear stateside for a couple of years!!

We needed Hucks on Saturday.  The victory was very lucky, but with Hucks on the left and fit we would probably have won more easily. Come on Glenn, you''re doing a great job, but us supporters want you to field a team that incorporates our talisman. He has that additional pace and flair that we know we will need  to get us into the Play-Offs.

Totally agree, think this would be a very sad end to Huckerby''s career here, and could leave a bitter taste in the mouth which is not want we want. I''ve not always been his biggest fan but he has been amazing for us and showed commitment that is unheard of in modern football.

Hope you''re right Huddy, hope he forces his way back in the team and leaves us on a high.

Sorry, i meant Huckerby! As for Glen, i think you''ll have to go to Colney for your heartfelt pleas, unless you can get 24,000 people to start singing "we want huckerby" or "12 HUCK-ER-BYS, 11 huckerby''...."
