Norwich City Nut 0 Posted December 11, 2003 I know Huckerby has done wonders for the team BUT he is not the prolific striker we need at this football club. (4 goals in 15 appearances hardly sets the league on fire)Huckerby would be an asset to any first division team but I think we should concentrate on getting someone who can get us 25+ goals a season. Tilt 12 Posted December 11, 2003 I think it''s more the fact that he is a "talisman" for the team - They play better with him and although he hasn''t got too many goals he has been involved in or directly assissted virtually every one of the other goals... I feel IF there was money available it should be spent on a prolific striker. Having said that who is there out there who would fit the bill?
