Sending Taylor to Coventry?

Recommended Posts

From the BBC Sports website:

Norwich and Coventry are battling it out for Birmingham defender Martin Taylor. (Times)

Classified by The Times as neither a ''Dead Cert'' nor a ''Long Shot'', but rather a ''Decent Bet''.

We''ll see soon enough!

"Hello, Iain ?  It''s Karen.  You know, Karen Brady.  Runs a club down the road from you.  No, not Wolves.  I know it''s been a while since we played you, but, anyway...  You want Martin Taylor don''t you ?  You don''t ?  No, let me explain.  I want you to offer a million pounds for Martin Taylor.  Haven''t got the money ?  Doesn''t matter, I''m going to turn you down.  Got it ?  No ?  Why do you want to offer me a million pounds for me to turn you down ?  Doesn''t matter - just do it ok ?   God, this is like wrestling in treacle.  You''d like to see me wrestle in treacle ?  Ok, well, offer me the million pounds then..."

Taylor wont be going anywhere until they get a replacement which with 12 hrs to go looks unlikely bearing in mind they have turned down a bid from Cov at £1m today.

I still believe that we have first option on Taylor in the summer hence why we only have loans that have come in  as cover in defence at the moment.

Don''t need or want him now, we need to get a striker in, if we still want Taylor, then we can wait untill the summer, the loans will cover us for now,
