Chris Goreham/Neil Adams just said that Huckerby is NOT injured. Of course, while it''s entirely possible that he just did not make the sqaud selection on form it''s also possible that he may be on the edge of being transferred.
I doubt he just didn''t make the squad selection as he was awarded player of the month before the match started.
We didn''t miss him today.  Let''s use the money on someone who knows where the goal is.

I beg to differ.

We would have torn them apart if we had been able to attack from both wings.

He was missing today due to his chronic hip complaint, something apparently Glenn Roeder was unaware of until this week. I find this quite incredible that no one told him, I can understand Huckerby himself not wanting to reveal he was carrying this injury, but would have thought Glenn would have found out all of this from the physio and medical team on his appointment.

Let''s now hope that now the manager is aware some real steps are made to try and find some way of resolving Hucks'' problem.

Know the feeling - not much fun having a long term injury

Huckerby can score goals.

Croft can hit the posts.
No offence ricardo. But Lee Croft was country mile the best player today. He was awesome. So he didn''t score. I thought it was the job of the strikers to score. Dublin hit the post twice and so I don''t see what your point is. Huckerby will never give the performance that lee croft did today. Betrand was very good today as well, he got so many superb crosses in and really did work hard. Again I can''t see hux featuring again this season when our two wingers play like they did today.

As Gazza said he''s injured, has had hip problems in training the past couple of days and is seeing a specialist on Monday to get it sorted.

Roeder also said he needs a fit Darren which is why he''s determined to get it sorted this time.

even if Hucks isn''t injured just because he hasnt been selected for the match day squad doesnt mean he is off does it? all it means is that he has not done enough in the last few matches and in training to convince the manager he is worthy of a place in the squad... that would be more down to Darren than anyone else.

jas :)

I saw him leaving at half-time, from behind The Jarrold Stand.......nice to know he cares enough to stay and watch his teammates - injured or not?
