New Kit for next season??

Recommended Posts

The initial agreement covers two seasons - but there is an option for it to be extended beyond the 2007-8 campaign if both parties are happy with the way things are going.

If that is the case, the club should keep the current away kit and just change the sponsors name. For a club who hardly ever wear their away kit, a new one every season is pointless (unless you count squeezing the £notes out of the supporters as justification) .

Sponsored by Central Trust Plc per chance?

jas :)

Or, Eventguard........?

[/quote]

one Company owned by Norwich directors and one company owned by City itself.. if its Central Trust then they are, in effect, Sponsoring the club for nothing.. they can pay a fee for the sponsorship which is going to eventually be paid back to them and no doubt re invested back into Central trust at 1 point in the future.. and EventGuard are part of the clubs "family" so essentially its a free advert for a company run by the club which will generate NO money through sponsorship whatsoever...

Its so rediculous it could only happen at Norwich.... [:s]

With Banham Poultry looking very much like shirt sponsors from next season (in the running last time with Flybe) who is going to actually want to wear a shirt with their red graphic of a chickens head or whatever on it next season?

Can someone cleverer than me post on on this thread or mock it up on a shirt?

essentially yes.. David Whelan sponsors the football team and the stadium.. Wigan Rhinos play there too.. im not sure if they are owned by Whelan? if not then the whole setup will never lose money.. whelans essentially paying himself, round in a circle if u like, so Wigan will never lose any money from SPonsorship deals running out... but wont necesarily make any money either....the Rhinos pay Rent which im guessing contributes to the coffers?
