Q: Where''s the money gone?

A: More chance of finding Bin Laden than finding that missing £2-3million.

We''re sitting here, desperatly waiting for city to unveil that 15 goal a season striker and centre-back, but I can''t help but think we''re being taken for mugs by the board. In a week when a dedicated fan unveils plans for fans to help raise the budget (''cos us fans don''t pay anywhere near enough, what with those weekly sell-outs at CR and away following).

I''m an optimist on the whole, but there''s just that thought in my head that the monies from the Earnshaw, Etuhu, Ashton, Green, Francis... sales have disappeared from the managers pockets for good.

Delia, Donny and the rest, you have a week to reward us, and Roeder''s dedication, and give us fans a reason to renew our season tickets.
