He only needs to be at half pace pace to be better than 90% of the players in this league.

I don''t know how fans vote for this do you George, is it via the PFA website or do you have to belong to an official fan club for each club in the Championship?

Whatever, well done Hucks for your award, I am sure you will be having a laugh after reading some posts on here. I am sure a few threads will now appear saying those who voted for him must be blind. Will await with much anticipation.
You''re right there, george. He wasn''t even our MotM during December, let alone the best player in the League. Weird.

One on the chin for the idiots who want to see him leave, then

"In the Championship, Norwich have been making a better fist of their

quest to stay in the division and December was certainly a good month

for the Canaries, and fans'' favourite Darren Huckerby who has been voted

Player of the Month in that division.

Norwich lost just one in seven games during December -

winning three - and that was due in no small part to the contribution

of Huckerby, who continues to excite the supporters and torment

defenders with his unique brand of wing play."

Totally agree with everything written there. People who watch Hucks and slag him off often seem to forget that even when he doesn''t have the ball - he has two or three men marking him at all times, which the rest of the team continually fail to take advantage of.

Well done Hucks although, if I''m honest, I think that Russell deserved it the most. Not complaining though [:)]

I see jas hasn''t commented on here yet. Strange that.
if hucks was a hurricane, maybe he''d be downgraded to from a catagory 5 to  2/3 - a tropical storm.  enough to get defenders concerned but not frightened for their lives, as he once used to - although on his day (blackpool, bristol city) he can still whip up a nasty whirlwind that leaves defenders trailing in his wake and helpless.  nice to see his efforts recognised by impartial outside observers.
