Iliev wants high profile move ......... so he chooses Norwich !

Recommended Posts

"Dantchev hinted his client was desperate to emulate current international team mates Berbatov and Man City''s Martin Petrov by clinching a high profile move to England." - why on earth would he cgoose Norwich then ?! Has he not twigged yet that we are a medium sized club in the lower reaches of the old second division or does he think that The Championship is the top league ?

I would have thought that the reason for choosing us is quite simple - if he performs this season, he''ll get noticed by Premiership teams here.  It''s easier for a scout from Birmingham or Blackburn to get to Norwich than Bulgaria, albeit only marginally with our current public transport problems.  He might even get promoted with us next season, and get into the Premiership that way.  At the very worst he will improve his wages for a couple of seasons, and at 28 he has probably 4 or 5 seasons left in him.

Its simple!

Evry half decent player dream to leave Bulgarian teams simply because abroud money that players received is times more than in CSKA or some other teams!

Also our league is poor grounds is poor ther eis fixed games  etc.

Iliev won all with CSKA was champion cup holder play evry year euro games and win over Leverkusen, Liverpool and many others so his need new Challenge + of course better sellaries!

These years if you go to 29-30 years pld  is very very dificult to find team abroud because all market now  not like this players.

So simple English team make decent offer  CSKA stop player 3-4 times last years to go and now is time to be loyal to his good servent and to give him to receive some good money  + cska will receive quite good amount for our standarts.

Its now or at summer last good chanse for Iliev  to leave Bulgaria and to play for decent Country with decent deal.

Player need refresh and of course he have some worie to come in team that easy can be level down next year but he jump on this because on this window there is no other offer +this is England dream land for many players + is league that must be suit best especialy for Iliev.

Also team was good reputation big crowd good training and official ground and no doubt Norwich chieffs declared that have big ambitions at least in fron of player and his agent.

SO i say on other post too that we have now on table player that normally is for bigger level club etc but we must grab this chanse in time because must remember how easy is last years was we to delivered here  players with good reputations...not much because they not find Norfolk atractive place (what a jokers);)

ok so will he stay in the Bulgarian premiership? what a league! rammed with stars! no.. i think u see the point.. i can only name 2 Bulgarian sides off the top of my head.. Levski Sofia and CSKA Sofia... i bet the Average Bulgarian can name more English football sides...

It is a step up isnt it? an eastern European league where the quality of football and the pay arent so good or the championship? Ilyev will decide...

Also, as someone said stepping stone.  A premiership team needs proven quality, this bloke offers a little of the unknown.  Proves himself here and a Prem team will come in for him.  Potentially a good business deal if it works out.

Would still rather have Martin Taylor though.
There is actually a NCFC supporters club in Bulgaria.
Didn''t know that Arthur - do you think that they are more outlandish than our Scandinavian fans?  Maybe we could get Borat to head up a Kazakstan (however you spell it!) Branch!

By the way, like the new picture -  may even change mine to Nelson and agree with the sentiments in your sig.

There is no official NCFC fan club in Bulgaria but because yellow shirts and nice spels from 1987-1995 Norwich have not so smal fan base here in Bulgaria.

Sure I doubt some one here to know more and to have much bigger interes to this club than me hehe.
