Syteanric 1 Posted November 16, 2007 all very good but too often the english football fan dwells on past glories.... hence why the national side have won nothing since 1966 and look set to finish 3rd in the group now. english Football needs to stop living in the past and adapt to the ways of "johnny foreigner" if it is to ever challenge for major honours again.jas :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
H4H 0 Posted November 16, 2007 Don’t get me wrong, I am not living in the past, but when the present is so miserable, it’s quite nice for 30 seconds to remember, being a football fan is about holding on to the special times as well as looking forward.
