Branston Pickle 3,638 Posted November 22, 2007 Sad news - never saw him play but he was clearly a City ''great'' from what others say; let''s hope the supporters and the players can give him the send-off he deserves.

Zippy23255 0 Posted November 23, 2007 My favourite player. In my opinion he was part of our most entertaining team ever. Went to Highbury in ''72 and watched him score a brilliant hat-trick in the League Cup. Problem was I watched it from the North Bank!!!! Couldn''t celebrate too much!!!!!RIP
Snuggles 0 Posted November 24, 2007

thunderbolt against Blackpool in ''72 in a 5-1 win.
That goal is on the Centenary DVD. Should be on You Tube.
This is just as good. I think thanks are due to Kevin Piper.http://www.itvlocal.com/anglia/soccernight/?player=ANG_SoccerNight_26&void=122286

Foggo_on_the wing 0 Posted November 25, 2007 Applause was heartfelt. I pictured him on the pitch while we were applauding - brought tears to my eyes.
HappyhammerAndy 0 Posted November 26, 2007 Same feelings echoed at Upton Park. He formed part of an awsome midfield. I saw the majority of his games and although I never met him, he seemed to be a nice guy and a gentleman. He could play with either foot and had a terrific shot on him.
