City to sign Jacques Cousteau and Jules Verne!!

If the midfield defend any deeper, we''ll need him. This is one of the things that tends to invite wave upon wave of attacks at times.

I think the tide had turned and we''re surfing towards the title. The undercurrent of doubt has been completely washed away and we''re now in calmer waters.

Of course we could keep a high line, like we did against Col Who at home!!

Behind the joke title it is a real problem for us;   and one of the prime causes of our relegation last season.

It causes the centre backs problems as there are too many people in a short space,  and too many people in a short space means that there is a risk of passing responsibility to another player, not tracking late arriving midfielders and it restricts the possible ball out of defence,  which means more hoofed clearances which increases the possibility that we simply conceed possession and face another attack.

I think Drury and Whitbread will increase confidence with the midfield to step up.  They either actively or subconsiously know that Rose is struggling and that Nelson can head but not pass so shorten the distance between them.   Both Drury and Whitbread (or Askou) are far more competent in that regard and so would bring so much more to the team.
