Not a world beater, our Doc, but hang on - look at the Stats: first 9 league games played (+Doc) - Goals Against 10; last 7 league games played (-Doc) - Goals Against 16.  So that indicates that with Doc playing we concede a fraction over 1 goal per game and without Doc goals conceded exceed 2 per game. Thats a big difference.

Well you always miss good players and that''s the case with Doherty. He''s also a player who is there for the cause.

Hopefully we can get him back soon and play him alongside someone decent (like Taylor) and then we might stop conceding heavily. Poor bloke is always labelled a "liability" when the real liability wears the captains armband and the No.4 shirt.

He''s not the answer if Norwich were aiming to get promoted but for where we are at the moment he''s plenty good enough to help us stay in this league.

I agree 100%. The Doc, as stated by Big D has been our best player this year. I would def have him ahead of Shackell. Now he''s the liability!
