Come on....Lets be 'avin us!

Recommended Posts

This Sunday at 1245 is one of the most important games we have had in a long time. It was the date that we first looked at on the fixture list. The game where we can payback the pain of last yr.

Nobody expected us to be going into this game bottom of the league. Worryingly we could go into this clash 6pts off of the nearest team!

In fact nobody expected a lot of things: Glenn Roeder to be our manager, the binmen to nearly be free of debt and riding high in the league, a goals for tally of only 7,the board still being here (depends on your stance), Carrow Road not selling out consistently and Arthur Whittle to have his own EEN column!

The season has been tough. One of the toughest many of us would have seen before. But this is where the going will get tough.

GR has a massive task on his hands. He needs to save this club. We all have different opinions on who we wanted to take the job, who we want to play and even who we want to leave from the board.

But on Sunday we need to put all this aside. We need to let the nation see what great fans we are, that despite being bottom we are turning up week in week out supporting our beloved team through thick and thin.

Now, more than ever we need a 12th man. If a player looses the ball or makes a mistake….so what. If we go one down, lets back our boys. Lets not turn on anyone at anytime and give the scummers the satisfaction of us booing our boys. They would love it!

So from the 1st yell of “kick it off”…..to the reading out of the man of the match award lets show our boys that we are right behind them and give them the support we know we can. When anyone blue touches the ball give him the abusive he deserves, make it uneasy for them, let them see that we are in fact more vociferous than there London overspill supporters!

Our team needs us more than ever. Now is the perfect time for us all to unite and get fully behind the team, now is the time for all of us to stand up and be counted!

KICK IT OFF!

i was thinking, when anyone in blue touches the ball why not everyone in the ground shouting: scum scum scum scum scum scum scum scum all the time, and whenever anyone yellow touches the ball why not a rousing chorus of on the ball city. if everyone in the ground did that not only would the binners be outsung but think of the atmosphere, the scummers being so poor away from home wouldn''t be able to play in it and our gang would be so encouraged we could rack up a cricket score. sod the twelfth man, why not ther thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth men as well? atmosphere like that would really put our derby up there with some of the biggest in the country.

oh yeah get on rob styles back, get him to give us a few pens and the odd red card given to a few of the binners.

now if all that happened... i''d be optimistic

defeatist attitude. if everyone makes the noise all game and gives it their all and ourguys continue to play like a bunch of ninnys, fair enough but i really believe if we up the tempo so will they.

If OUR team plays badly and are struggling then its more the reason to back them and give them an almighty lift! We just cant give the sc*m the pleasure of us booing them!

[/quote]This is one time we should all be singing our hearts out . If they score OTBC should be sung out loud and proud straight away.Lets leave the talk of protest and poor performance aside for this one game at least I dont want to be looking at a single smug inbred smile in thier corner at any point in the game.River End and Jarrold ,sing and support The Barclay and the Snakepit we know deep down you want to !

Some of us try hard in the Jarrold to get them going but it''s a bit of a lost caurse as most of them are one match wonders and wouldn''t understand what the OTBC song is all about. But we will give it our best again tomorrow.

Never mind the danger
