Pros:

* Has worked under Guus Hiddik.

* Has experience at major tournaments it both Manager and Assistant Manager positions.

* Has managed big game players / personalities.

Cons:

* We (Australia) didn''t look that great in the Asian Cup, where we finished 2nd in our group and went out in the quarters to Japan on pens (a very English way to leave a tournament it must be said....so maybe that''s a pro)

* Not much club experience.

My Conclusion: Not the best option going around....but not the worst.
