'It's a private business, but.......' & ' community club'

Recommended Posts

A contradiction in terms, eh?

What we now have is a benevolent, amateurish, privately held dictatorship notionally run for the masses provided that they pay seat subsciptions, support emotional share issues, play the celebrity game - say thanks, of course - and imbibe the community spirit. And it ain''t working is it folks?

More and more fans are realising the truth - in this world we need modern, focussed, hardnosed, non-whimpering leadership with ''backative'' and business savvy focussed on customer satisfaction at every level.

When will the tipping point be reached?

The tipping point should be when the wrong manager is appointed. We''re not going to appoint any body with quality, it''ll be cheap old Martin Allen, or Phil Parkinson. It should Bruce, or Jewell, but Delia doesnt have the ambition....

Spot on again BlyBly.......and no-one else is to blame for the sorry state of our once proud club. We have been sold false promises for far too long now...and it''s only a matter of time before the turnips Smith planted run to seed.

Norwich City certainly isn''t what it was...but that doesn''t mean it can''t be proud again once the celebrity circus is run out of town.........

CT. That would present many fans with an interesting conundrum. Do we resent the board for going cheap again and rebel or do we ''do the right thing'' and give the new man a decent chance!

The marks on the bench seem to point to the fact we always "go cheap". So the interesting conundrum could be - if we follow the Turners advice and don''t "penny pinch" do we resent the board for not following in the footsteps of succesfull boards from the past or do we ''do the right thing'' and give the new man a decent chance.

Interesting times!

I am waiting with rather morbid fascination to see the spin put on next the managerial appointment by Neil''s "Celebrity Circus'' to the huddled masses.

Last time the story was that the board wanted ''a winner'' and that they had found one in Peter Grant - a winner, the real deal.

Of course there was little or no foundation for this claim spun out so slickly to the anxious fans.

This time? Well, isn''t it going to be interesting.

Private business.........the people''s club?

One of the worst things in life is to be condescended to by a dullard whilst being restrained by good manners.
