They do seem rather to have backed themselves into a corner and increased expectations with all this ''International Managers'' have applied, ''Premiership Managers have applied'', ''50 high-calibre applicants'' (plus Duffed it) and then the ''the right man might not be available just at this precise moment in time'' phrase leading to speculation regarding Jewell and Bruce (and now Dowie). Am I the only one thinking next week might be a huge let-down when we are introduced to Mr. 500-1 never-considered outsider, never managed but full of potential, an assistant manager recently sacked from Nowheresville!

all our quality transfer targets and now manager targets go the same way eventually - west!  ambitious to try though - yeah right.  it would be like me drawing up in my almera at a ferrari showroom and asking for a test drive - they''d tell me to fudge off, and rightly so - but at least i could tell people i was trying??? lol

Exactley, all these top players we supposedley tried to sign but never came, and we end up with Chris Brown. Therefore I think they will say they tried there best to get Jewell, but we end up with Perrin ( A coach at Forest Green, if you didnt know)

Think what it was is that they were never really going to get a manager, they were always going to go with Duffy.

Unfortunately Duffy is terrible and now theyre stuck having only interview about 2 people.
