BlyBlyBabes 0 Posted October 18, 2007 Maybe The Football League should put together a squad of England qualified players from the three CC leagues, brand it Real England , design a shirt with a big red cross on white and a red rose on white shorts, engage a savvy marketing outfit, and set up friendly matches with unoccupied countries in ''competitive international weeks'' - together with a high profile, competitive international tournament in the early summer each year. The squad would remain unoccupied on friendly international dates in order to minimise playing overload. Both players and clubs would be paid based on appearances. And we could insrall Peter Taylor in charge - as international football seems to be his forte. But, I''d better shut up as some smarty pants foreign investor might start dreaming about the marketing possibilities of brand Real Norwich as opposed to the New Norwich City and................then we''d need a new CEO and a new Chairman, and a new...................oh, dear oh dear, that would never do, would it........OTBC
