I didnt bother to read anymore after that!

Haven''t we already been down this road, I thought the guy was a joker back then! Has he actually got any money or is it all talk?

He had my backing up until:

“I am happy to see Jim Duffy at NCFC and on Saturday did exchange a good luck message with him.

“I am of the view, as a shareholder, that he is the best man for the job.

Thanks but no thanks.

(A) He has a past (Fraud allegations)

(B) His past also includes the likes of Saddam Hussain and paedophiles etc

(C) Why is he so concerned for us exactly? Does he really have good intentions?

(D) He thinks Duffy is the man for the managers job.

I’m sorry to sound like Delia but I can understand them blocking this man in the first place. OK Delia does needs to go but I can also sympathise with her “local investment” stance.

Personally League 1 seems more appealing than letting this bloke takeover.

Better the Devil (s Advocate) we know, thanks.

This is a good summary of the issues with foreign investment - the magic bullet that everyone thinks we should be shot with...

God some people really are picky! I say we take him and his millions, but of course Delia is sat quite comfortably on her Throne and won''t be moved from it for a forseeable future, unless there is a mass rebellion. People may be unhappy at his suggestion that Duffy should be in charge but at least with him Duffy would have some cash to spend, with Delia we will get Duffy (or worse) as manager and no cash to spend!Get ready for League one! because if something doesn''t change, Norwich will continue to be glued to the bottom of the table.

Firstly, it just seems like some made up story, there just seems to be a lack of reality about it!

(obviously it is true though)

Secondly, again the Duffy bit, it shows he knows nothing about football!

can anyone remember this guy from when he tried to taske over before? I cant

I think Delia is only in it now for PR reasons to stay in the publics eyes so she can sell her books. She''s just to me does not seem as interested as she once was and i really think we should be pushing her out and taking in a new board. It''s our club, not hers or the boards and they have no right to block anyone from wanting to invest in this club, especially with the current situation.

But i feel as long as we''re getting 23+ supporters every home match that this board will keep plodding on like they are even if it means we end up a division lower.

I can''t believe what short memories some City fans have or perhaps they were not about when this joker surfaced before. All the big plans that he would buy |Jimmy Jones shares.. yeah he bought 10 of them. Then it was off to Northamptonand despite the board & trust offering him a deal to come on board he vanished.  Millionaire?? He talk himself up well but has anyone ever seen the money and as for Dundee , I don''t think they''ve recovered from administration yet.. did a great job there

Delia Smith thought Grant was the man for the job. Mandaric thinks Megsons the man for the job. The guy at Sheff Utd thinks Robson is the man for the job and this guy thinks Duffy is the man for the job! There''s no difference, lets just hope the guy we come up with this time is the man for the job! I have no real confidence he will be but as you see I wouldn''t have confidence whoever was appointing him.
The man defended Harold Shipman, for christ sake, isn''t there anyway else?
He''s a lawyer, in a fair and democratic society everyone is entitled to a defense in court, therefore who he has defended shouldn''t be an issue as he''s just doing his job - and in a fair, democratic and civilised society, thats the way it should be.

No, much as we''d like it to be true, Delia and the other shareholders own the club and they can

do whatever she wants with it. Get over it. Why not try and raise the

cash if you really want to own the club instead of demanding that

someone else uses theirs.

I went to University with his son! They have been linked with just about every football club potentially up for sale in the uk and he didn''t go down very well in scotland.

He even planned to make his son director of football at 1 club which was great as his most senior posting at the time was captain of the university football team!

I''m not going to claim i''ve got any inside information but I will say both Giovani and his son are both very passionate football people. He may have some questionable clients but they do have a right to legal assistance, so why shouldn''t he represent them? Other clubs have just as morally questionable people in charge. The ''Porno Kings'' and Brum, Darlington used to have a safe cracker, Chelsea have a crook who exploited his whole region for his own personal gain and I''m sure theres countless more.

I''m not exactly excited about the prospect of Di Stefano but I don''t hear many Chelsea fans complaining about how their success is funded.
