We MUST get behind the team for Derby Day!!

I very rarely post on this site but i feel that every single Norwich fan needs to start thinking about Derby Day already!!We will lose at WBA this weekend which means that the Ipsh*t game coul be the most vital Derby in this clubs history certainly the most important in the 22 years i''ve been supporting the team (I can''t really remember the Milk Cup Semi Final)!!If we lose it could even at this early stage of the season be the final nail in the coffin no matter who the manager is!!  However victory could be just the confidence boost the players, staff and fans need!!So despite the early kick off those off you old enough to drink get some early drink inside you to loosen the throats and sing louder than you have for years, every time an Ipsh*t player gets the ball boo and whistle lets for one game get the atmosphere going and try to intimidate the other team rather than our own!!  We are clearly a poor team at the moment but victory in this game could be just the boost they need to get out of the trouble we''re in!!Even if we go a goal behind continue to support the team (i know most do but lets be honest it''s not been the case in recent weeks from some sections)!!  Lets not let Ipsh*t see what a state we''re in and for 90 minutes GIVE THEM HELL!!!There that''s the end, fingers crossed for Derby Day!!

Most of the time, the atmosphere generates from what''s going on on the pitch and if we''re playing attacking, exciting football then Carrow Road will be rocking. For the first half an hour of the Bristol game when we were playing well the fans were singing their hearts out(sort of!). Unfortunately over the past couple of years the football hasn''t been great and therefore it''s hard for the fans to get going.

So if the team''s playing well, I''m sure the fans will really turn up the volume. The worrying thing, though, is that I don''t think the players are good enough to take the game to the opposition![:$]

[/quote]Actually i''m at work but thought i would spend a time posting something DIFFERENT to the usual rubbish i read on here!!  Once again i am NOT a Delia fan but i am a Norwich fan and all i want in the next two weeks is for us to beat Ipswich, so if you want to make any irelevant posts then fair enough this is a post purely about getting behind the team for 90 minutes.  If you''re not interested in getting behind the team for the biggest game of the season take a wander down the Murderers before the game and i''m sure we can persuade you otherwise.

Surely even Cluck, Wiz and Smudger don''t want us to lose against Ipsh*t do they? Hmm.. Not so sure. It seems to me that if you disagree with some people on this board you are therefore either a) a binner b) a school kid or c) a member of the board. The only outcome acceptable to me in this game is a positive result. Politics are put aside for 90 minutes, and i will be fully behind the team. In return, and for a change, i demand blood, sweat, tears, fanaticism from the players, and more blood. Ram ipswichs taunts back down their fat throats. My personal loathing of the cook and Doomcaster wont alter this. If however, the team roll over and die -  they can expect a tonne of contempt.

Now that I''m a big boy the games against Ipswich are no different to any other....and you just get three points like with all rest.

The Tractorboys are only as important as you want to make them...and they mean sweet sod all to me.......

Portaloo Road in 2003 was my favourite - I''ll never forget the disbelief on their faces as we went top of the league in their back yard.However - god help us - if they beat us to put us bottom of the league - it would ruin it all. Whatever your thoughts on the players, the manager, the board, whatever, no-one surely wants that to happen. Get behind the lads against the Derby 110% - the crowd may help them pull off a memorable win.

Nope...they don''t bother me a bit. Having lived in Lowestoft for 5 years I knew alot of Ipswich fans and believe it or not they were definately human. Lots of banter...lots of laughs....and we all went home friends.
