Hartson & Hoofball

I don''t get this recruitment at all...our existing strikers have not had the service to get the goals (how come supporters can see this by the way, but not qualified coaches??) . We could have Torres and Owen up front but it would be no good of they;

a) don''t receive the ball

b) have no decent crosses to feed off (sorry Croft and Hucks, you just don''t cut it anymore)

c) have no midfield to back them up.

I think Hartson is unnecessary (unless he is being recruited as a hard man to shake up our apathetic players...then I am all for that). Surely what we really need are ball playing midfielders (to feet!). I have a horrible feeling this signifies a plan for more hoofball, not less.
