Herb 0 Posted July 1, 2004 Reading the article on the Pink''un site about Iwans new job at Gillingham, lets hope he can get off to a flyer in his first game. I for one will be following the big man''s progress with the Gills avidly...it will be very interesting to see how many he can put away if he gets a decent run in the team. Quite a few I''ll boldly predict. The bit about his final farewell to the lads down at colney nearly brought a tear to my eye, makes me realise that Iwan really has been "Mr Norwich City" for so many years now.We should never forget the contribution to City''s survival during some very dark days for the club. Its a crying shame that we find ourselves getting back into the big time too late for the big man to prove his mettle against the best defences in the country.Good luck Iwan, get some against the scum for us :)
morty 0 Posted July 1, 2004 Well said Herb, I can''t help but get a bit emotional when I realise the big guy won''t be around next season, I wish him every success and a hat trick against the scum! Keep it low.
