Yellow Rider

Tony Pulis!

Front runner according to The Mail (who goit it right on Hartson!), he hasn''t previously been mentioned from what I can recall.

Reid and Newell are other contenders - apparently.

I still think BFJ with a good, up and coming prospect could work well (like Harry and Tony Adams at Pompey) but only IF BFJ has the motivation and steel necessary to stand up to the dressing room upstarts (or should that be ''upstart'').

I can''t for the life of me think who BFJ is please can someone tell me!

Voluntarily or involuntarily, one supposes.

Leicester and Southampton both more of a hot seat than Carrow Road.

But Magilton is safer than Grant!

And what is it about Tony Pulis?

We''ll see. But the bookies usually get it right.

If you haven''t read through the posts on that link 1st Wizard put up then I''d recommend you do - it''s makes very interesting reading. Here it is again: http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=944&p=16&style=2&forumId=3276&action=1&replytoid=527919155A mixed bag of views but in general he seems to have split the fans, there are accusations of boring ''long-ball'' football, and suggestions of fans boycotting games. There is also a certain glee amongst some posters that they might get rid of him. Even those who like him don''t seem to think he''ll get them promoted, despite their current league placing. Not exactly a glowing reference is it?I know that every potential manager will have ''baggage'' but this doesn''t fill you with confidence does it?

Tongue Tied [:S]

pulis half decent manager

he''ll make you hard to beat like stoke

but you also wont play stylish football but i think this stage in norwich future you need stability and results

not trying to play stylish

also has eye for player seems netted diao n hendrie who both made stoke city push hard for the playoffs last season

[/quote]Too be honest I don''t really care what you think. Norwich has a great history of wonderful football and for the past 3 years we have put up with hoofball and playing for 1-0''s and look where it has left us. We need a manager with the ability to make us play football the norwich way and take us back where we belong.

To a degree, playing football ''the Norwich way'' is a myth. There has been many a time in the last 30 years or so since I''ve been supporting NCFC where the style has been anything but.

This was most noteable under all people, Martin ''O Neill, but people forget this as the results were okay. It was terribly long ball and older fans at the time said it was the worst style of football they could remember under any Norwich manager.

those were not good days though really... When we''ve been at our best we played wonderful football, whenever we do bad it seems to coincide with playing poor quality football.
