has gunny Let the cat out of the bag?

By saying on the wireless that he will be "sitting down with Duffy can discussing any possible coaching role"?

now we all know that Caretaker Managers can bring in Loan signings, but why would a caretaker manager be sitting down with someone and dsicussing a possible long term coaching role with them when in a few days they could be put out of work should a new man come along?

Time to come clean City... Duffys got it... and Gunnys let it slip by accident.

League 1 never looked so closer!

jas :)

Or perhaps he was on about Duffy taking a coaching role (when the new manager is appointed?). Didn''t hear the radio so it''s hard to put it in context, but you may have a point Jas ;)

Or maybe Duffy and Gunn will take charge of team affairs while the club wait for Crook and Littbarski''s contracts to run out in a few weeks.God help us if Duff does get it though, what a mistake that would be and league 1 would be our new home.

thats why i ask the question why would a care taker manager be making someone a coach? they could both be out of work in a few weeks... and we cant afford to wait for Littbarski and Crooks Contract to run out "in a few weeks"... we could be cast so far adrfit at the bottom that they wont be able to rescue the sit-ee-ay-shun if they are brought in.. we need someone in no later than Monday.

jas :)

Well according to what Bly just posted you can get 13/1 on Duffy so maybe Gunny is giving us the nod to "fill our boots" [<:o)]
