Heed Sir Nigel's Words!.

Recommended Posts

''When there is something to report, we''ll let you know!'' those imortal words were music to me old wizard ears.

Even I was starting to join in on the old speculation game, bloody fool that I am!. Will you take heed of the gaffer''s words, doubtful. But as I always keep saying, ''Trust in Nigel, and keep your powder dry''.

Stop recomending players we can or can''t afford, Worthy has his own shopping list which we can''t influence anyway!.

And apart from the inept Mark Rivers, he ain''t done too bad, has he?.

The sad thing is Rivers ain''t inept, he''s just bloody lazy.

And that''s an even worse crime, in my humble opinion.

DD, ok, in retrospect Emblen was a mistake - but I put this one down to bad luck on both the player and Worthy''s part - you can''t legislate for injuries like Emblen''s. I still believe he would have been an important player for us had he not got injured, but unfortunatley for him the team moved on while he was injured. I don''t class that as a bad signing or a mistake by Worthy.
