Hi, this is my first post on here! I
If this can be taken as an example of the sort of stuff you''re intending to post, I hope this is your last.

We may be underperforming at the minute, but the players are still human beings ffs.

If you were having a bad time at work, you wouldn''t expect your boss to start screaming at you on Monday morning because he''d seen you out on the town over the weekend, so where do you get off slating the players for having a private life?
We have the greatest set of players under the stewardship of a legendary manager who is supported by a really ambitious board! Is that better Indy?
Er, what is your point exactly?
haha ure all a bunch of muppets!! that is my opinion and will stick by it, especially as the money i as a fan put into the club will go someway to their wages then at this present moment in time i feel it is a disgrace yes because of the situation the club is in! like i said they are only human but their proffession is that they have to b in prime condition to compete at this level and them going out drinking bottle after bottle of champagne really is not the way to pull this club around!! yes if we are sitting pretty on top of the table then they can do what they want i just thought it was a little disrespectful to the fans to which this club apparently thinks a lot of. This is all my personal opinion which a forum should be for so i wont b told by whoever it is that this should b my last post!
I agree Gorber...

Maybe they ought to stick to the drinking coz the majority of them sure as hell can''t play football.... [;)]

The majority of today''s players are a total bunch of tosser with no respect for anything but their hefty pay packet!!!!

The again if you are foolish enough to pay the hefty wages to some of the donkeys on our books (Docherty, Brown et al) then it doesn''t take these players getting p!ssed in the week to make you look a bit silly does it????

Great comeback there, clearly we''re all going to listen to the insults and inane ramblings of someone who feels that a person''s performance in their job should directly relate to the amount and level of socialisng that they are entitled to participate in.

Saying that it''s ok if we''re top of the league, but a disgrace if we are not, is hypocrisy of the highest order.

As long as the players are following the guidelines set out by the manager and club regarding their behaviour, and are attending training sessions and matches on time and acting professionally whilst doing so, there is absolutely nothing wrong with their actions. If it was the night before a match then I''m sure that the manager would have issues, and we''d have been likely to agree with your viewpoint in that situation, but it''s not.

Why not drop the club an e-mail advising that you think all the players should be confined to Colney unless we''re in a playoff place, and if they even attempt to participate in any social activity, they should receive a strong birching and possibly be sacked. Sounds like the sort of madcap plan the current board may even consider...

Well i think it is unfair that a few of you lot are trying to tell me to not post anymore!! The whole point of this forum is to ''have your say'' and this is my opinion on this particular topic! The ones that do want me not to post again obviously cant accept someone elses opinion! And to the ones who are trying to be funny with their replies i found myself laughing a lot at you and not with u, mayb its because i am nt part of the close knit pinkun family of posters??!!?? The club is in absoloute freefall and i am glad that i did not renew this season, mayb u will have the same opinion when league 1 football is where we will b in the near future!

It is certainly the case that everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it is a rather daft notion to suggest to be said that players should all mope about and almost behave like monks if things aren''t going well.  We are talking about a group of young men, mostly in their early 20s; it is hardly breaking any rules, even ''moral'' ones - for them to be out 4 days before a game.  Having players'' nights out was is indeed one of the things that supposedly helped build and enhance the camaraderie within the squad during the title winning season.

I''m pretty sure the rules have always been pretty clear what is expected of players - one of my mates used to be a regular Youth team player and showed me the ''rule book'' they had to abide by with regard to alcohol and the like, rules which went through the entire playing staff: I''m pretty sure it said they weren''t allowed ''anywhere that served alcohol'' for 24hrs before a game - I always thought that was rather harsh (and am not sure how it can be policed).

",,,the money I, as a fan, put into the club..."

Believe me, the club can take it or leave it-what do most of us, on avarage, "put into the club" every season?

Say £600 for a season ticket.

Plus tickets for away games-but don''t forget, the revenue from away games goes to the home club, so we don''t get anything* from those games, we sell the tickets and pass on the sales/recoup them from the initial expense made to the home club.

(*Can someone confirm-I believe this is the case, though it is different for Cup matches?)

Refreshments, programmes etc-well, money also goes to the wages of the people who sell the burgers etc.

A few of us withdrawing the money we put into the club won''t make any difference to anyone at Carrow Road. However, as and when many people do & home attendances slip to 21''000, 20''000 -as they will, the way things are going- and, horrors, below 20''000...then they''ll take note.

I honestly believe that the "powers that be" seriously think that we will NOT go down and we will ALWAYS have 24,25,000 at home matches.

Arrogance allied with stupidity if that is the case. If we do go down, I think they''ll find its just as difficult to get out of L1 as it is this division (Forest keep trying) and, combined with less gate money, less TV money, less sponsor money (who''ll be on the shirts next season-the local chippie?) and wages that keep up with existing contracts...oh dear!

Make it your last post too would you. Shocked and Disgusted!? Please. What were you doing there? Had you performed to a satisfactory level in YOUR job. If you hadn''t then maybe you shouldn''t have been in there or maybe thats just none of my god damn business.
We all like to go out and have a few beers now and again. Maybe they were celebrating one of their birthdays or something like that. If they had the day off after their night out, i don''t think its really that bad. It they want to go out thats up to them, but as professional sportmen it can''t be good for them if its close to a training session or a match.
They certainly weren''t  out celebrating a win that''s for sure.

More chance of scoring in a nightclub "are you a truefeshinall footballer? I''m a model....a ''glammer model'' - d''ya wanna come an'' dance around me prada han''bag an'' then yer can buy me a kebab later" than on the turf of a football stadium.

Bit harsh.......(for the glammer model that is).

If I could get p***ed up before going to work I probably would...................imagine all 11 men staggering around the pitch, talking rubbish, ....................
From what we''ve seen so far this season they''ve been doing that quite well without any alcohol.
