BlyBlyBabes 0 Posted October 7, 2007 From dodgy rumours site:Peter Grant''s managerial future hanging by a thread at Norwich City. Which, coincidentally interests one of his former clubs, Bournemouth, who are dangling a similar sword of damocles over their boss, Kevin Bond. Names in the frame for Grants job include a few familiar ones desperate to get back into the game–including Trevor Francis, of whom, Birmingham MD Karren Brady has spoken highly of to Norwich majority shareholder, Delia Smith. Others are Carlton Palmer, Nigel Spackman –who has been in the running for the post before– and Glenn Roeder. Finances at Norwich mean it is unlikely that they will be able to tempt a manager currently in employment, though high level, informal contact has been made with Bury regarding their promising young manager, Chris Casper. OTBC - we''d better mind the danger!

canary cherub 1 Posted October 7, 2007 "Poisoned chalice" doesn''t begin to describe the manager''s job at CR at the moment. Quick, someone get on to Casper and warn him off.Surely no one still believes that a simple change of manager is the solution to our problems?

They may start checking up on those "Casper out" threads and the suggestion that a little experience in the Blue Square Conference wouldn''t come amiss. If there''s a "next time" try the "hands off our brilliant manager" tack............ ShakerChris 0 Posted October 8, 2007 Okay Camuldonum, Please please please keep your filthy hands of Chris Casper, he is truly a wonder of the modern age in football and has transformed Bury into a team of world beaters in his short time. Dont let our league position confuse you, this is in fact a cunning ploy by that genius Casper to lure the rest of the league into a false sense of security before we hit an unbeaten run to the end of the season. With Chris in charge, we fully expect to be in the premiership in four years.(is this washing?)
