taintedtom2000 0 Posted October 9, 2007 I think that now the time has undeniably come for Grant to leave, whether he wants to or not. How many employers would accept the comment "I''m thinking it over" or "I''m not sure if I''m up to the task". You would have expected an "I''ll not give up" or "we are good enough" attitude, I know for certain that if any of us in the ''real world'' of work said anything to this negative effect, we would be shown the door. Even Grant knows there are no excuses left to give.Surely if Grant isn''t sure he is the right man, MWJ and Delia can no longer continue to believe that he is!There are no excuses left now......the time has come PG, MWJ and Delia. Please, let us move onOTBC
komakino 282 Posted October 9, 2007 I commend Grant for being honest, though that is no reason in itself why he should stay. He knows there is nothing else he can do, as it is clear that some of the players do not have his support and have no intention of ever doing so [The petulant Huckerby for a start].I think he''ll come to some sort of arrangement with the board, i.e a partial pay off, instead of Worthington hanging around to get all he was owed. However inept and out of his depth Grant was, he is a honourable man. It''s a shame, but he has to go. Problem is, it doesn''t end there.
Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted October 9, 2007 Grant has clearly put the whole issue into the hands of the Board.
