Who are the players PG is refering to ?

Recommended Posts

"It''s me or some of the players", was his retort when questioned on whether he was "considering his future",

He also stated that the "big" players were not performing.

Obviously the team is fragmented, some pro the manager others against.

The question is who are they?

He said from day one that he wanted the players to "play without fear" then proceded to put the fear of god into different individuals with venomous public criticism every match.

This I feel resulted in the oft quoted "loss of confidence"  plus a combination of mystery injuries , and the players most affected are the ones PG now refers to.

I would say Hucks(below form&injuries) and Drury(injuries loss of captaincy) are probably the main candidates of  Grants accusations with possibly Cureton of those who were not in the team last night.

Anyone agree ? ?

Talking about last night only, the only players I saw really try were Croft, Marshall, Dion and Big Dave when he came on.  Everyone else was rubbish.  Huckerby looked disinterested, Russell couldnt pass to his own man, Rossi Jarvis might as well have watched from the stands, Drury was lazy, Shackell just kept hoofing the ball long, Otsemebor was just aimlessly cantering about.  I can go on and on and on........

But in fairness even if the players were on fire the tactics were so woefully inept that I doubt the game would have been any different.  Long ball football is out dated and simply is not effective anymore.  And that is all we have seen under Grant.

I am absolutely sick of the club.  Also a lot have people mentioned that the players dont want to play for Grant or the board.  I can sympathise a little with this cause it is hard to motivate yourself to do well for people you dont like.  So, to the players, dont play for the board, dont play for grant, PLAY FOR THE  FANS.

For me the only highlight of last nights game (TV) were the frequent shots of Flavio Briatore and his absolutely stunning girlfriend.  (My god she was nice..)

Its Hucks, Jamie, Brellier, Chadwick, and even Russell.

All come with big reps, and have been average to awful!

Think you could be right - interesting though that 4 of that 5 were his own buys.

They certainly are, which is why he is doubting himself.

You could well be right there,

Interestingly each of those players were dropped, to the surprise of the fans, at a time when they had played well the game before.

Spurs are in a not dissimilar position in the Premiership to NCFC in the Championship. It’s interesting to note the fight in their players, & their support for their manager, as opposed to the lack of fight the Canaries’ team are currently showing, & I don’t believe any Norwich players have spoken out on Grunt’s behalf, in fact Hucks has talked about the current side being the weakest he’s played in. Grunt shouldn’t be considering his position, his employment should be terminated now, before he does irreparable damage to the club. His appointment was a bad business decision which initially misfired & is now backfiring dangerously.

Im shocked that 24h after this shame with QPR this moron PG  still is on the board!

Was crap player and is even more crap as a manager!

Is not possbile any profi players to look like that more than 5-6 games in a row!
I belive my local 3rd division team that players received 70 GBP per month can play with more passion and skill than jokers on yellow shirts last night.
Please gone now coz we have 2 weeks time to refreshed somthing....

Loosing next one at home and then sacked will be disasster and then facing 2 away hard games and then rock bottom with bit margin...

Please kick out him now!!!!!!!!
