komakino 282 Posted September 30, 2007 Delia wants to offer him a short term contract, but Grant has [correctly]refused. This just shows how ridiculous our board is and that Grant is not completely mad, however hopeless his tactics are.So if Grant does go, don''t be totally shocked if our slightly overweight Irish friend plays on our hallowed turf once more... Rasputin was a C... 0 Posted September 30, 2007 If thats the case it really does show that our board are clueless. There is a reason why Mulryne hasn''t got a club and it seems they''re making Norwich the rest home for the terminally shite.

mr flibble 0 Posted September 30, 2007 what a load of rubbish ! phil mulryne has not been offered any sort of contract and he knows it . If you''re going to find a reason to have a go at the board try and make it factual
komakino 282 Posted October 1, 2007 It''s a fact. It''s from the man himself. It''s a short term contract. This is not ''board bashing'', just the truth. Maybe he''s a star in training and looks better than our current crop? That would be worrying...
BlyBlyBabes 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Are you serious? Delia getting involved in team matters? If true, this is very, very interesting and has started me thinking - Peter, Jamie, Rusty, Phil - who next? Ade? Chris? Bellars - no he''s way out of our league. You can name the rest! Comfy eh? Come home to Auntie and be alright.Maybe Delia thinks she can re-create...............................no, I don''t...........or do I...........?Nah!?[6]OTBC
Buncey 1 Posted October 1, 2007 How bitterly ironic that we now really miss players like mulryne and mcveigh.
komakino 282 Posted October 1, 2007 I don''t think Delia would meddle in team affairs, but if for example, Mulryne has been looking good in training and word has got back to Delia [not from Grant], she may well of thought well ''Why don''t we give him a carrot of a short contract?''. This may not seem as mad as I originally thought - everyone knows Phil likes Norwich so he probably would try harder to impress his bosses. That said, I still wouldn''t offer him a contract for various reasons - not least of all because it would send a negative message to our younger players.
