canary cherub 1 Posted September 26, 2007 A good read David.Tell you what struck me - the fact that Peter Grant didn''t tinker with the starting XI, didn''t bring on any subs. Admittedly I haven''t been to CR since January, but he gives the impression at times of changing the formation and/or personnel for no obvious reason, which can''t inspire confidence or cohesion. 7rew 0 Posted September 26, 2007 I agree mostly, except I would have rated brown more highly - he did the job asked of him well and shared the left wing well with Jarvis.I would start out with the same team for Wednesday, as players shouldn''t be dropped when doing well. The only change would be to bring Huckerby on the the bench, putting him and either Strihavka or Martin on after about an hour for Brown and Cureton. If as it seems that the Doc might not be fit, I would bring in Halliday in a direct swap and have one of Russell, Lappin or Marshall as captain. Freeza 0 Posted September 26, 2007 Cheers guys, certainly will be interesting. if Doherty misses out, who replaces him. Halliday would seem the only option, surely he can''t pull Spillane back after his performance but he would have been the choice otherwise....
