Huddy 0 Posted September 24, 2007 At least worthy had 3 or 4 good years (no they werent a fluke), but yes his time was up. At least he had the know how to get us out of the league, and build a side. We''re worst now than when worthy left, we have no assets, more rubbish and need someone to do what worthy did all those years ago when he took over.
Salopian 1 Posted September 25, 2007 If he has time to tuirn things round - Grant - he has had other peoples'' messes to clean up so far.

Chopper Harris 0 Posted September 28, 2007 It has to be Worthy on current evidence. Hamilton was hopeless so he is out of the running, Worthy had a good run and got us to the premiership. He did run out of ideas though and was probably relieved when he was shown the door. As far as Grant goes, it is still early days. he needs to make this squad gel, work together and have more of a positive attitude on the park. If he does that and we start going up the table instead of down, he could start to win the faith and confidence of the fans

Stevie Wonder 0 Posted September 28, 2007 Stupid question!Worthy is one of only 4 managers in our history to win us promotion to the top division and in 5 full seasons at the club his lowest finish was 9th.
Smudger 0 Posted September 28, 2007 Worthy by a million miles. It was nice to see him walking around trhe City with a smile on his face the other week too!!!I was never Worthy''s number one fan, but he did do a fantastic job for us and like all the other managers was held back from taking things futher by our tight @rsed board!!! Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted September 30, 2007
If he has time to tuirn things round - Grant - he has had other peoples'' messes to clean up so far.
What, by changing teams and formations week in week out? He signs 9 players and continually plays them in different positions and formations, Its hardly surprising they arent gelling. Let alone his legendary man management skills. The board made a HUGE mistake, whoever the new manager is will have a huge mess that Grant is leaving behind to try and pull together to avoid relegation.GRANT OUT. Mello Yello 2,505 Posted September 30, 2007 Joe Royle and his amazing gargantuan head - that bristles with football knowledge and tactical nous......Ex Canary, so should meet the required criteria. Then again, he would be too opinionated for our Directorship.
