First Jedi 0 Posted September 12, 2007 How about, for a change, we had some "Canaries for the Canaries", before you start buggering off to support other teams? We''ve far too many "Canaries for Ipswich" on this board... or maybe they are "Binners for City", I dunno. My great club being dumbed down. No heart. No soul. Expectations being lowered. It''s difficult being a City supporter these days.I fancy some romance in my life once in a while. So, c''mon Morecambe.Survival will be wonderful for Morecambe. Anything more ecstatic. A once in a lifetime opportunity to make it. Rainbows and bells. Party time. And our young Joe starring. Come on ob1, cut the cr*p and come on board - unless you''re unsure of the stability of your support of City, that is. Me? I''ve nothing left to prove.So!!!......[8][8][8] C''mon Morecambe.[:D]OTBC OTBC
Anderz 0 Posted September 12, 2007 When I lived in Lancaster I went to a fair few Morecambe games (both pre-season and League) and the atmosphere there, even for a non-League Club, was fairly decent. They''re doing rather well of late and to be honest in my opinion the Club deserve it, although Morecambe as a place is a bit of a graveyard, especially out of season with regards to the tourists coming to see the promenade. The area is slowly re-invigorating itself though, so maybe things are on the up for the Shrimps and the Morecambe area.
First Jedi 0 Posted September 13, 2007 I wouldn''t mind Bly, if you supported City first and other teams 2nd...
It''s difficult being a City supporter these days
Yeah - I''d get out now, mate. I hear Man United are desperate for some supporters and it''s much easier supporting them. Have fun! (I''d like to point out - I support any City player and hope they do well - this happens as a default, since I''m a fan of City... funny that!)

Syteanric 1 Posted September 13, 2007 sod Morcambe! i dont care if they end up back in the conference. Ok so Joe Lewis plays for them but apart from that who cares? And i notice how the media are going "morcambe crazy". they seem to have forgotten about Dagenham and Redbridge who had been trying so hard for so many years to get into the football league, even being denied by the now defunct, and rather stupid "stadium law" in the past.jas :)
