Some improvement indeed.

At 1st September last season we had 10 points from 5 league games (2 pts per match), had won 2 Carling Cup ties,  and according to The Pink''Un...............

Norwich City put down a marker to the rest of the Coca-Cola Championship as they tore ten-man Barnsley to shreds at Carrow Road.

Norwich City were able to name an unchanged starting 11 for the fifth consecutive league game

After a further 4 league games that produced 1 point the famous ultimatum was issued.

One more match and Worthington was gone. Kaput.

At 1st September this season we have 4 points from 4 league games (2 pts per match), have won 2 Carling Cup ties, and........

We have a serious injury crisis

The only 2 common starters in the 5th league match last year and the 4th match this year were the defenders Doherty and Drury. Thus this is very much Grant''s team.

The next 6 matches will be decisive in Peter Grants'' managerial career with our club, one suspects.

Will he be given the dreaded vote of confidence, perhaps an ultimatum - or will he respond to the challenge and secure his position for the time-being?

All one can really say is that ''we live in interesting times''

I, for one, wish him good luck if only for his passion. But I have serious doubts that he is the right man to lead us into a successful future.

In many ways I suspect that the writing is on the wall - especially given his failure to address our central defensive weakness and our absence of creativity in midfield. It is well-established that weakness in the spine is fatal to prospects for success.

D DAY will be Wed 3rd Oct,  if we don''t beat Scunthorpe the night before and the other "home banker" the Sat before enough will be enough

Hope I am wrong and we pick up 12 more points by then and put us back on course.

I am dreading the Wolves game after what happened on our last visits

So 5 more matches you reckon KC.

I wonder what will happen on 3rd October if things still look ropey?

Does the club have a Plan B if Peter does not work out, or will we totter into a crisis?

We live in interesting times.
